How to Remove a Session from Sale

Sessions are the individual time slots within an event that customers book on to. If a particular session should no longer be available, it can be removed from your site without affecting any other sessions.

Instructions

  1. Log in to the Back Office (https://backoffice.digitickets.co.uk)

  2. Click on Inventory, and then Events

3. Search for your event, and then click on Sessions on the right-hand side

4. Find the session you wish to remove and then press Edit

5. If you wish to fully remove the session from the customer-facing site, then change the status to Inactive and then press Save

Please bear in mind that inactive sessions will still be available on ProPoint if you use our EPOS system.

6. If you wish for the session to appear on the customer-facing website, but show as sold out, change the capacity to 0 and then press Save

If you set the capacity to less than the number of tickets sold then your reports will show that you have oversold on the session as the number sold will be higher than the new capacity.
