Creating Automatic Emails
You can quickly and easily send emails automatically to your customers either before or after an event. The post-visit option is triggered by the ticket being redeemed.
It also allows you to enter custom text to display in your Order Confirmation, Membership Renewal, and Membership Management emails. This will replace any existing text.
Instructions
Follow the steps below.
Log into the back office (https://backoffice.digitickets.co.uk/)
Click on Marketing, then Automatic Emails.
3. Click on the blue Add button in the top right-hand corner
4. Start filling in the information for your email.
Name; How this particular automatic email template will be referred to in the Back Office.
Type; This allows you to choose which email type the text you input will be sent out for. If you set the type as Order Confirmation, Membership Renewal, or Membership Management the Content field will be auto-filled with the existing text. You can then either keep, amend, or replace this.
Category; Choose the category for the event this email will apply to
Event; Choose your event
Items; Choose a specific item that the email will apply to.
Include Salutation; Choose whether to include the customer’s title (e.g. Mr, Mrs, Mx, etc.)
Time; How long before an event do you wish for the email to be sent out.
Constitutes marketing?; Does your email contain information about promoting an event or similar? This will only send emails to those who accept marketing emails.
Subject; What’s the subject of your email?
Content; The body of your email.
Blacklist Emails; are there any email address you do not wish to send the email out to.
Status; Whether the email is active and live, or inactive and not sending emails.
5. Click Add to save your email.
