Setting Up Gift Aid Rates
Gift Aid can be applied to the relevant items by setting up a Gift Aid Rate, and then tying that rate to the required tickets. The Gift Aid Rate is the donation value that should be applied to the item when the customer chooses to gift aid an item or order. For tickets that offer Gift Aid without requiring an additional donation, the Gift Aid Rate can be set to zero so that the system will still display the Gift Aid declaration at the checkout.
Instructions:
Log in to the Back Office (https://backoffice.digitickets.co.uk/)
Click on Pricing, and then Gift Aid Rates
Click on the blue Add button in the top right-hand corner
You will then be directed to the Gift Aid Rate: Add form which you will need to fill in
The Name will be how the rate is referred to in the Back Office
The Type will be how the Gift Aid increase will be calculated. It can be set up to either apply as a fixed Value or to apply as a Percentage of the existing ticket price
The Amount will be the amount to increase the item by. You will need to enter this value without any currency or percentage symbols. If the ticket should be the same price whether or not Gift Aid is applied, then the Amount should be set to zero

Set the Status to Active if you wish to start using this Gift Aid Rate on your tickets/memberships as soon as you save the Gift Aid Rate
Once you are happy with the setup, click the pink Add button on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen
